There is no wind and you really feel like doing something active? No problem! We are happy to help you with your plans and give you our insider advices and tipps to enjoy your holiday to the maximum. You can also just enjoy the beautiful beaches in Tarifa and chill out in one of the beachbars to regain energy for some more kitesurfing!

Bike & E-Bike Tours
Tarifa’s surroundings are natural parks and beautiful forrests and beaches. A great way to discover them is by mountainbike or e-bike. There are many trails around the coast and the mountain hills of Tarifa. Plenty of options to choose from depending on how much you want to sweat.
Surfing
A 40 minutes drive from Tarifa you find a famous surfspot called “El Palmar”. It is a great place to spend a daytrip, check out the area and chill on the beach. There are plenty of bars and restaurants to enjoy after your surfsession. Make sure you ask where it’s best to surf. There are currents in some areas. There are also a few good surfspots in Tarifa when there are good conditions for waves. Mainly from November to April we get many good swells to enjoy!
Diving
Around the “Isla de las “Palomas”, the island of Tarifa where Mediterrean Sea and Atlantic Ocean meet are several diving spots. You can take lessons or go on a diving trip as an experienced diver. The biodiversity here in the Straight of Gibraltar is very big and there are plenty of species to see in their wild habitat.
Whale Watching
If you are more comfortable on the waters surface a whale watching trip with Turmares Tarifa is something for you! Discover the whales and dolphins in the Straight of Gibraltar on an incredible Boat Trip between the European and African continent.
Yoga
In Tarifa you can find many talented Yoga teachers. Depending on your Yoga taste we can recommend you where to go. Enjoy a session on the beach and start into your day with a lot of positive energy!
Horseriding
Take a ride on a real Andalucian horse. There are many horses in the area. Enjoy an evening horseriding tour and ride into the sunset in beautiful Los Lances Beach or Valdevaqueros.

Sara L2023-11-13Good not great Equipment was a bit outdated (helmets, rip in wetsuit). Organisation could have been more clear (last minute changes of meeting point). Instructor was okay but sometimes a bit too pushy. Staff was friendly but also a bit indifferent. We did make improvements in our kiting but overall experience could have been better. Would try a different school next time. Also not cheap.

The trainers are very passionate and experienced and give personal advice on how to improve. from how to get your gear ready, over untangling your ropes after a crash, to which body position you need on the board. When in the water, the trainers communicate with you through walkie talkies to tell you what you did wrong and what you should do to stay on the board. Wlad, the owner, is a very kind and passionate kiter himself. His passion translates into the casual, nice vibe of the club.
